May 3rd, 1975 In 1975 Len Strickler took some of us to the Battle of Atlanta. In the first match Len drew a guy who was 4 inches taller and at least 50 pounds heavier than he was. The guy rushed him, swept him then stomped on his head. (Two illegal techniques) The judges gave him a few minutes to get it together and then Len jumped on the guy like a wild man. He beat him 7 ways to Sunday. For his final point Len got him about the waist with a flying scissors and kicked him in the head when he hit the ground. It was one of the most impressive things I have ever seen. |
